DotA

Let me do a brief introduction of my interest in DotA.
(Alright it's not going to be brief, so be prepared for lots of techs!)

I'm bored right now, so I shall post this before I actually start to study for my Chem promos which is tomorrow!

Alright let's go!

When I first started out with DotA, it was still a very old old old version. Say, 6.38? I remember the good old days where the taverns are all by the fountain, and that there wasn't so much fanciful items and heroes. It was a simple game of teamwork and I got sucked into it right after my sec 2 streaming exams. (Yea, I got into triple science, it's rewarding to myself.) See this is actually what I always wanted to do, get into a game and develop in it. Since everybody around me was playing, I thought, why not?

First hero I ever used. Razor. Ahhh. Good old memories of the red coloured lightning bolt and the chain lightning, yellow coloured aura, the random shocks around razor every 10 seconds. It's good old Razor, the Lightning Revenent that time. There wasn't any plasma field or the thingy that sucks up damage. I sort of hated it. Yeap, I started out on a razor and developed a love for it. (Though I practically DON'T use Razor anymore now)

 

This was the razor I loved. But they totally changed it right now. How sad. Yeap. That's the starting of lantis_play in DotA. I did change my IGN for a few times (you guys should know it well what did I change to before -.-) But hell, it's fixed for lantis_|_play right now!

For now DotA is my lifestyle. Nonono, it's not my lifestyle, my lifestyle is still studying, but DotA is one of those items that make me happy every once in a while. Nothing compares to having a great DotA game with these people:

Yea, to all those up there, really a big great thanks for the fun we had in DotA. No don't misunderstand me. I'm not quitting DotA for good. LOL I'm just being sentimental about how much we have progressed in DotA together. 

There was even a time when almost the entire class guys started out with DotA. I remember Desmond playing, Yong Zhun playing. Matthew got in with Shervance too. I mean, everybody suddenly just started with it. But lots of them stopped. That's sad. 

Let's move on to DotA for me right now. Usually it's only Tatster, sheng, weiheng, jo and me playing. Lots of people are not joining us as often as before, but hell, it's still fun to try out new stuff.

Lotsa new stuff every game! We are HEROs. HEROs don't quit. (That's for you Tat Wee. LOL)

Yea I find it quite weird to post about DotA. Maybe more next time, I'll explain more of my play style and preference instead. I'm kinda bored but don't wanna play DotA. So I'll write and blog about it instead.

Promos

It's promos period!

I shall update right after my promos are over. In fact two days after that, since I've got the All Boys Camp by JJC 2 days after promos. What a lame thing to do. Hai...

Project Work is for Dumb People

Hi guys, I'm back again!

Just to update you guys about my project work right now. It's bullshit. Really, my group members are all so 'motivated' to do their work. Yet all sent me work...that is CRAP. With one more member not even sending me anything.

I mean, you tell me that "Hey, I think we should do our project work," or use the annoying tone to tell me "Eh Bili, our project work how~~~?"

Don't question me these, if you are not going to do your work and sending them to me on time. If the other few group members can do it within 20 minutes, I don't see what is the problem right here. Of course if you are reading this, please wake the fuck up. I'm very tired of chasing after people for work.

Most people think that project work is 'Oh so fun!' and that we are supposed to bond and work together as a team. Well screw that thinking, project work is for dumb people who seriously believe that they will always work harmoniously together as a team, to finish and complete the task. Come on, really, come on. I'm holding grudges with everyone, just that I'm too angelic to show it off. (Not to you CTSS people, I hold grudge with none, except Wei Heng maybe. Cyber bully. Ok kidding. LOL)

So much for JC, Just C_ _ _ _ _ E. :) Fill in the blanks yourself, I'm writing it like this so that I won't get into any trouble. Lots of words starts with C and ends with E. Comprehend it yourself!

Promo exams are coming, well I do hope that people will wake up, seeing that promos + project work + crap.

So much for ranting, now time for a good old fashioned... update about my life.

I'm 17. Seventeen. 十七岁. Grown up??? NAH. I'm still a small kid :P

I love to play, a love-hate relationship with studying, BUT, definitely a one-sided HATE relationship with slacking. I hate slacking to the max! Slacking is the same as smoking (for a smoker of course.) You know it's bad, but you just do it. Why? There's no reason. It's like a... a... tuberculosis-preventive pill. (What?) You know it will harm your liver, but you still take it.

Alright that wasn't a good comparison, anyway.

I wasted the entire holiday off! I did little work I must say, since I'm so obsessed with watching YouTube and all sorts of commentaries (Warcraft, DotA, Starcraft). One week flew by, I did only 1/3 of the work I planned to do. Time to cram up the remaining 2/3 into the 2 weeks of school!

Yeap, I will be staying late in JJ for every now and then of course, since my mum's overseas and my dad comes home late most of the time. Yea I will just waste my time off if I stay at home.

Come on, I need the aura that was present every night during Night Focus in CTSS :(

Delifrance... Not as 'Deli'

I just had my lunch at Delifrance. It was sort of random to eat there, but my dad just wanted to try it. Not to mention the disappointment I had from this large cafe...

I remember in the past, Delifrance was something like Subway, selling awesome sandwiches with nice fillings. But now, it's more like a restaurant which sells mini portion of food, at a very large amount of price.

I ordered their Beef Lasgne. Of course, I've eaten lots of Lasgne, and I find the one at Bukit Timah Plaza truly appetizing. However, Delifrance made the one at BTP even more appetizing than ever.

I have never came across any Lasgne which is watery. It's just too bland. The beefy chunks within the pasta slices were too moist and the feeling of it in my mouth is very bad. Given a choice I'd want to spit it out, but it's okay, I still need my nutrition. Beef is nutritious, don't waste it.

What else? Oh I tasted my mum's seafood pot pie. (I forgot the name of it). It tastes... sweet. Yes, it's a sweet pot pie, with seafood. I don't really know how to link these two tastes together, but it just don't go well. I mean, you don't expect to see pastry with seafood in it. Wow. Creative idea, but I guess it's a bit too creative.

That's all for Delifrance I guess. It's just their lasagne that let me down a lot. I'm not trying to defame anybody right here so please don't put me in jail, just expressing my personal opinion. :)

The Inspiration To Blog

Hi guys, today I'll be talking about how mad can people get when they are faced with dreams.

I read up recently about 'lucid dreams'. Yea, thanks Zhe Han, read it from your note and went on to research about it. (Only if I could apply this eager learning towards everything, including my A levels subjects.)

It's pretty cool stuff, there are certain ways to make you have a, erm, 'lucid dream'. It simply means that you are actually dreaming, but you are aware that you are dreaming. It's more or less, a dream world that you live in, which you control. Pretty awesome right? And how do you achieve this?

I read several methods. Some were bizarre. Includes writing a letter 'A' on your palms and trying to recall and challenge yourself if you are dreaming. Be it in reality, or in your sleep. Wow, that is awesome stuff right?

But honestly, what good does it do to control your own dreams? Fantasize about the things you like? Most guys would probably go fantasize about Megan Fox (I don't think she's hot.) or maybe just try out something cool. Then BAM, you wake up. All's gone. But of course, that's hell of an experience ;)

Who knows? Next time this 'lucid dreaming' may actually become a cure for a disease or something, (most likely mental disease, since I don't think you will get well from flu by just dreaming.)

Yea, that's about lucid dreams.

It's already September! Time flies, I still think that O levels was just over, now I'm facing promos. It's like studying for O level five times! Nah not really, I don't find promos any stress, because I can promote, I believe I can. Or rather, I hope I can :)

Other than that it's just normal stuff lately, I'm down with some cough, yea so people who often come in contact with me will know. Not looking really good these few days.

Anyway I'm starting my Physics tuition and more PW rushing soon. Met Ms Wen today and she told us that our PW is perfectly sound and safe. No problem! Just that it's the least that she could do to help us do well in our PW. It's okay, it's okay. I understand it's hard to bring out the fact that our project is sort of screwed, but at least there is a solution right now.
