Kids of This Generation
Hello people, I'll be back for a quick update before I start off with my mass physics revision again. (I love it when I revise for physics. It feels fun.)
I'm going to talk about the kids of our generation. Those born from MY year onwards. Well see technology has flew so fast as we grow up. I think it's the fastest compared to our previous generations. We have seen the computer screen turn from a big box into a flat screen, a mobile phone from pixels into the Retina Display (yes the iPhone 4). The improvements made in transport systems, cars. Manufacture goods, even PENS. Now we even have preferences for which pen to use. Pen used to be such a luxury good in the past.
I mean look at us, we have seen everything gone from dumb, big and stupid, into small, mini and compact.
Most importantly, our generation are widely, very widely affected by computer gaming. Or in other words the computer. Technology, new media, etc.
Which one of us kids do not own his own computer, and still have to share it with the family? Which one of us do not own a mobile phone. Look around you in the train, you could easily spot primary school kids holding at least a Sony Ericsson, and Secondary School kids with iPhone. Most of the time they're just holding it, listening to music, doodling on it, texting friends. But I believe, in the past, kids of our age were more than happy to have a book to read in the train.
Yes, to those who are going to rebut me with 'times have changed', keep your arguments for now.
I'm posting from my OWN laptop. That makes me no difference from other kids of this generation.
Look at the post right below this. This is what kids of this generation are interested in, what we are indulging in is not reality. It's something so fake and deluding. What worst could come of this generation?
I'm sorry if this sounded like a GP essay, but I thought I could talk about this, since I'm indulging in DotA and Starcraft all the time, and I'm spending most of my time online. Who else share this lifestyle? Thousands out there. Speak up people, in the tagboard right there >>>>>>
